OS: Win XP SP1
Tcl/Tk: 8.5a0
TkCVS: 7.1.3

This no longer happens on XP, but then the variables
still aren't being initialised, the procedures are being
short circuited. This leads to some interesting selections
when using the mouse as it doesn't get the mouse's
location when the button is first pressed while over a
filename. If you then drag and select it uses the value
that it was last assigned, makeing for some unusual file
selections :)

I had a look to see if i could get them to initialise
correctly and this is what i came up with. This will not
allow you to select two seperate groups with the mouse
at once though as it first clears the selected files.

If you want multiple selections, you can remove
the 'unselectall' from the button release bindings. This,
however, means that if you start a selection while over
a filename, that first file won't get selected as the
popup menu selects it first and then when addselection
gets called, from areafind, it gets deselected because it
has already been selected.

This patches my previous patch to allow multiple/overlapped
selection using <Shift><Right Mouse Button>. This is
achieved by by-passing the popup menu if the shift key is
used, as well as not clearing the selection list.

This could also be used as a replacement for the button 2
usage, but as i don't use a three button mouse i'm not sure
    what the conventions are.
