TinyCAD 2.80.00 has now been released in "Production Build" status. This new release supports a new tree oriented control for displaying and editing symbol libraries, a significant number of bug fixes, and a number of user interface usability improvements.

The first full production release of TinyCAD in the past several years is now available for download! Enjoy!

The long awaited TinyCAD 2.70.00 Build 228 Beta Release has now been released.

The TinyCAD 2.70.00 Alpha Release is now in use by over 660 users with only a few bugs reported. The biggest problem that anyone is having is associated with system specific configurations of the obsolete Microsoft Jet/DAO/Access database drivers that are used to process symbol library databases.

The Beta version of 2.70.00 will be released on or before Monday, March 9th, 2009. It differs from the Alpha release in that it has the identified alpha release bugs fixed, it has performance enhancements to support faster dragging of high pin count symbols, and, most importantly, it switches the symbol library format from Microsoft Jet/DAO/Access compatible to SQLite3 compatible. SQLite3 has equivalent functionality to the Microsoft Jet .mdb format, but is an open source small footprint module that is up to date with Windows and does not require any external packages to be installed correctly in order to work.

TinyCAD has now made the 2.70.00 Alpha Release available for download under the "Latest Stable Build" package.

The TinyCAD 2.70.00 release is now looking for alpha release testers. Please contact admin Don Lucas if you have significant experience with TinyCAD and can test on a Windows XP box.

This release contains a number of bug fixes, user interface improvements, netlister improvements, and some new Spice netlist macros.
