As soon as I open Word 2003, the send selection & send line do not work. I can, however, use contrl-C and Cntrl-V to copy to the clipboard and paste into the rgui.

It all goes back to normal as soon as I close Word.

Anyone have any ideas about the source of the conflict, or how to fix it?

setWindowTitle breaks connection to RGui

In case this is helpful for others...

When I upgraded my OS to Win 7 (late to the game, I know) and was setting up Tinn-R (2.4.0.1) and R (2.15.2), this setWindowTitle issue popped up again. In the past (Win XP, Tinn-R 2.3.7.1, R 2.14.0) I had used the syntax I have above (without utils::...) and Tinn-R settings for R -> Rgui -> Recognition of 'Both' with partial caption search. That did not work in my new setup. The only settings in Tinn-R that worked for me are setting partial caption search with 'All', the last option. No idea why, but this works. I am using my syntax for setting the window title, but all it does over the utils:: syntax is add a dash before the path. Both work for me.

I appreciate your helpful response. Unfortunately, I am not successful using the strategy you outlined (I of course tried to drag and drop it many times). The toolbar is floating "outside" of Tinn-R. For example, if I minimize Tinn-R, I can still see the toolbar on my desktop.

I am able to find the ini folder...will doing something in there fix my problem? Thanks again!
