Sorry I do not work with these versions of R and Tinn-R, but if you rather go
for the newer ones (R2.13.2 and tinn-R 2.3.7.1) I'd suggested you to deleted
older versions of tinn R, install R manually, specially choose SDI mode and
the install tinn R (2.3.7.1) . It works perfectly!!

Just using tinn for the first time. Although great overall it is hanging up

Why don't you try the latest version (2.3.7.1)?
