Is there any way to add permissions to plugins?
For example, some of the "potentially dangerous" plugins (JS, SNARF, REDIRECT, etc.) are also highly useful.
I have lots lots of instances where an admin needs to include JS on a page and wants the script's output to be visible to all users, but changable only by the admin.
I would like a way to add two permissions to plugins:
- View: The user can view the output of the plugin, but when editing a page that contains the plugin, the code for the plugin is "locked" and cannot be changed.
- Edit: The user can view the output of the plugin, and when editing the page *can* change the plugin.
Is this (or something better) possible?
