No

When trying to set up my wiki I came across the issue
that many mail scanners don't allow \r in the mail
headers. So (at least for unix-smtp) the line in
question should read:

@mail($email, $tmp, $mail_data, "From:
$sender_email\nContent-type: text/plain;charset=utf-8\n");

    depends if your Linux, Windows or Macintosh. We need some
    detection rules and this cannot be commited as it, because
    it would break other installations on other OS's

    Ive assigned to myself, so that I can work on this during
    the TikiFestUK2 at the end of the month.

    No good. as we need to fix this in 1.8 family as well.
    Im going to write some code to change the line endings on
    all mails depends on the server host.

    Re-opened.
