From at new 1.8 install, I set wiki home page.
When I then set
Current permissions for this page:
group permission action
Anonymous tiki_p_view

This gives me an error message when going home.

Same problem here, after setting topic permissions to a
group I belong to and trying to view

    http://www.example.com/tiki-view_articles.php.

This is on a fresh install of tiki 1.8

Seems to be a case sensitivity issue. See if this fixes it
    (missing "`" characters).

I finally figured out how to reproduce the original problem
using the original userslib.php. The problem still went
away after adding the tick marks so I'm not sure what to
suggest beyond what was already mentioned. Are you using a
tick mark (`) and not a single quote (')? Also note that
objectType and permName needed ticks added too.

    Good luck.

    Sorry, I missed objectType. Thanks
