For Anonymous users, trying to switch the theme
produces strange combinations when codex or one of the
metal themes (which seem to have been made based on
codex) is involved. That is, when the site default is one
of those and the anonymous user wants a theme that
isn't one of those, then the resulting pages (persisting
even through subsequent theme switches) show
combinations of the styles rather than cleanly switching.
Specifically, when the default theme is, say, bluemetal,
page background and text are changed, but the grey
tiki-mid background and a couple of images ("Powered by
Tiki" and the two-angle-brackets image at the top of the
left column) continue to show in all subsequent pages,
and in all subsequent theme changes. It's as if the theme
change is implemented after part of bluemetal is already
displayed. Or, if the default theme is not codex or one of
the metal themes, and the anonymous user switches to
one of those, then some elements switch, but the
background image and others don't. (This happens at
tikiwiki.org as well as at my site in testing.)

The problem occurs with IE, Phoenix, and Opera
browsers.
