Please create a new release at PyPI, so buildouts can be much smoother. As a basis, I suggest the Debian package (the 0.2 source does not even compile these days, afairct). If you want, you can grab this to work with: https://github.com/muellert/uTidylib). If you do not want to do this, please let me do it by allowing me to upload this package to PyPI, and/or making a statement about that package's ownership or access rights, so I can coordinate with them.
TIA!

Discussion

  • Ok, after a bit of thinking (and googling), I figured out that PyPI is a public module repository for Python (like CPAN is for Perl), which is great.

I did a search for "tidylib" and found a bunch of projects, including uTidyLib.
    See https://pypi.python.org/pypi?%3Aaction=search&term=tidylib&submit=search.

But neither the PyPI project nor your GitHub project is part of this SF project. Is one a clone/snapshot of the other? Of course, you're free to update any project (assuming you have commit privileges, etc.) with current TidyLib sources. But you'll have to work w/ the folks on those projects to work it out.

    take it easy,
    Charlie
