It was then before I actually wrote the code base, and it was meant to be as project-inspecific as I could... and I didn't know a thing about automake, so I just copied some automake files from the old source and modified them as far as I could... I know of this but have been too lazy to correct ;-) Got more urgent things to implement ;-) BTW: It was mainly because of some people prefering /opt, and some prefering /usr/local ;-) C'ya, Marc |
