We have bought some t5145's with an integrated VIAChrome9 HC3 video
card and although in my build.conf file I specify the package
xorg6-via video driver but it is not working.
I do not want the vesa driver because I cannot use small resolutions
I saw that in the contributed driver packages there is a viaopenchrome
package. I have downloaded it and followed the instructions:
Additional/Alternative hardware drivers for Thinstation 2.2 series.
Unpack into your build environment. eg. if using your home directory
tar zxf <path to driver>/<driver>.tar.gz
I have thinstation 2.2.2, so maybe this is the problem.
If I comment the xorg6-vesa package in build.conf, then xorg does not
start at all and it stays in the framebuffer logo.
Any clues as to how to solve this? Has any of you this model of
thinclient with thinstation 2.2.2 working with a small resolution
(smaller that 1024x768)?
