1) will do 2) will look at 3) have suspected a problem with cron and ntpdate for a while, will look at it 4) feature :o) depends on what options you use, if dhcp is enabled in thinstation.conf, it will override manual IP conifguration, if its disabled then it uses manual config -----Original Message----- From: Mike Eriksen [mailto:km...@ma...] Sent: Wednesday, 30 July 2003 01:27 a.m. To: Miles Roper Cc: Thinstation-Developer (E-mail); Thinstation-General (E-mail) Subject: Re: [Thinstation-developer] Thinstation 1.0rc1 Hi Miles Have been playing with rc1 for a few hours and I really like it! I found a few things though: 1) You misunderstood my request to change pxelinux.cfg/default: you have changed the file name "default" to "vmlinuz", but I meant that you should change the content "vmlinuz-2.4.19.super" to "vmlinuz". Please rename it back to "default" and change the kernel name. 2) ICA manager fails: it refers to /usr/lib/ICAClient... but it should be /lib/ICAClient... 3)If you run a date: Wed Jul 30 02:09:59 NZST 2003 I work late, but not THAT late ;-) Some locale problem here... I have enabled hwclock and ntp, but nothing happens. I can run ntpdate by hand. Crond problem? 4) I don't know if this one is a bug or a feature, but a dhcp server overrules manual ip configuration... I can't connect to ica servers, but it could be a firewall/nat problem in my network - just fishing here... Otherwise excelent work!
