Hello, From looking at what happens when the client fails and speaking with my co-worker, we think we know what is happening: When you connect to an sgd server and login with the regular webtop, a Java Webstart downloads and runs a client component binary into a .tarantella folder on the local machine. Our java webstart does start, and it looks like the webstart is able to create the folder where it downloads the binary to, but the binary itself isn't there. At first it looked like a permissions problem, but it looks like the root user is running the java webstart. Does the kiosk user have the abililty to download and run the binary? If not, is there a way for me to empower the user? Or is there another workaround that anyone could suggest? Thanks!!
