Actually, now that you mention this, our users report EXACTLY this problem since I rolled out RC2 with RC5's Rdesktop binary. I don't know if it's related to the keymap, or Rdesktop. If, for example, they have number lock on, sometimes it behaves as if number lock is off. If they turn number lock off, it behaves as it's on. It only happens after about an hour or so usage so I'm not sure what cuases it. Literally the only other change I've made is to add -N number lock sync to the Rdesktop command line. Using en-gb keymap. Not had this problem mentioned in the past by the users. I kept shut as I presumed it was something to do with the English keymap. Likely much more related to Rdesktop than TS ----------------Original Message----- From: thi...@li... [mailto:thi...@li...] On Behalf Of Jason Meers Sent: 07 June 2005 09:40 To: thi...@li... Subject: [Thinstation-developer] RC5: Outstanding rdesktop issues In my opinion, rdesktop and the rdesktop keymaps are still not fixed completely in RC5. In ts21rc5: =========== Numeric keypad behaves erratically, as if someone keeps changing the insert/over-type settings whilst entering numbers from the keypad. Put simply, when I use numbers on the keypad I sometimes get the alternate key action as well as, or instead of the desired one. e.g. Pressing number 4 on the keypad (with number lock on) gives me the equivalent of typing a "4" AND a "<-" (left cursor key) e.g. Pressing 0 on the keypad (with number lock on) gives me the equivalent of typing a "0" and pressing the "INS" key. In ts22b2: ========== The keypad works perfectly, but the cursor keys, INS, HOME,PAGE UP, DELETE, END and PAGE DOWN do nothing. Is anyone else aware of this, or having the same problems as me?
