I work with MacOSX 10.11 El Capitan. I get a problem in using an external pdf viewer (Skim). I'd wish Skim as my default pdf viewer. For this aim I changed the field "Default Viewer" into "Options:Production" and the field "External pdf viewer" into "Options:Compilation". Now, if I compile a latex text including the word "foo", for example, the compilation works and Skim is launched with the pdf page including this word foo. But if I change "foo" by "faa" in latex text and I compile again, compilation works but Skim is not launched and the old pdf page including "foo" remains yet displayed. For to get a pdf page with "faa" I have to close the pdf file including "foo" then I compile again and Skim is launched with the right page including "faa". I get the same outcome if the button "don't launch the viewer if the dvi/ps/pdf file is open" into "Options:Production" is on or it is off. Note that I already had this problem with texstudio 2.10.4.
