It would be great if I can sort my user macros (more than 50 at the moment) in submenus.

At the moment I got this

user macros
 |- \text
 |- \num
  ...
 |- enclose in ()
 |- enclose in []
 |- enclose in {}
  ...
 |- set headline to higher level
 |- set headline to lower level
  ...
 |- TikZ: \draw () -- ();
 |- TikZ: \fill () rectangle ();
 |- TikZ: circle [radius=r]
  ...
 |- TikZ: .. controls ..

but a structure like this would be much clearer.

user macros
 |- Math
 |   |- \num
 |   |- \text
 |    ...
 |- Braces
 |   |- enclose in ()
 |   |- enclose in []
 |   |- enclose in {}
 |- set headline to higher level
 |- set headline to lower level
 |- TikZ
 |   |- TikZ: \draw () -- ();
 |   |- TikZ: \fill () rectangle ();
 |   |- TikZ: circle [radius=r]
 |    ...
 |   |- TikZ: .. controls ..

I can think about an additional field in the macro editor “submenu” where I can type “TikZ” and all macros with this submenu setting are grouped in a TikZ menu, the sorting in the menu could be done according to the first entry in the list with the corresponding submenu entry.

Thanks for developing TeXstudio!

    Furthermore it could be helpful to be able to add a separating line to this menu.
