Hey,

I thought the point of profiles was to enable specific working environments.
I was wondering whether it would be possible to store the opened windows in the profile. For example, in the morning I would like to work on files A.tex and B.tex and in the afternoon I would like to work on C.tex and D.tex. I don't want to have all four (It's actually more like 10) files open all the time, so it would be nice to have an easy way of opening the files at once.

The profile is thought as collection of settings. Session information should not go in there. We have now implemented full session support (rev. 3513). See File->Session. That's exactly what you were looking for.
