I think the feature to find word repetitions shouldn't react on single characters and numbers, especially in formulas.

  • It must find single character repetitions, at least in English. (e.g.
    "he run over a a fox"...)

    But you can disable the normal word repetition on the advanced grammar
    page (set the number of words between repetitions to 0),
    and only use the long range word repetition check, where you can set a
    minimal word length.

    especially in formulas

    Currently the grammer/repetition check can't access the LaTeX syntax
    tree information to know which is a formula.

  • I have added a find next grammar error option some time ago to the find next repetition dialog.

    Also grammar errors are now hidden in math environments
