Hello,

a recurrent trouble for LaTeX beginners with TmX (as most LaTeX editors, except Emacs but the latter is not for beginners) is that level of nested lists is not automatically apparent: the beginners either have to do it manually or... they are completely lost ;)

So, it could be nice that for a list added inside an item of another list to be automatically indented, as in the following scheme:

Step 1:

\begin{itemize}
\item
\end{itemize}

Step 2:

\begin{itemize}
\item foo bar

\end{itemize}

Step 3:

\begin{itemize}
\item foo bar
\begin{enumerate}
\item
\end{enumerate}
\end{itemize}

Best regards.
