  • Hello!

I have an issue using norwegian letters in a tex file. Probably a misinterpretation of encoding when running pdflatex, but how do I fix it? I've added \documentclass[a4paper,12pt,no]{article} in the beginning of the document, and TexStudio detects my encoding to be UTF-8. And the characters turns up nicely in the editor, however, upon compiling and viewing the pdf-file, the symbols turns up garbled...

    • Hi Helge,

this is rather a latex question than a txs question.

Probably you have to add "\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}" to your document.
