TXS runs latex prior to pdftex on F6

I just noticed a strange behavior of TXS. I use the standard configuration of
the commands and shortcuts except that BibTex is replaced with biber.
I used to compile by pressing F6, i.e. execution of "pdflatex -synctex=1
    -interaction=nonstopmode %.tex"

At some point I started to use the {microtype} package and I received lots of
    errors; here an example:

Process started: latex -src -interaction=nonstopmode "main_diss".tex
    Running miktex-makemf.exe...
miktex-makemf: The ec-lmr12+ source file could not be found. Running hbf2gf.exe...
    hbf2gf (CJK ver. 4.8.0) Couldn't find `ec-lmr12+.cfg' miktex-maketfm: No creation rule for font ec-lmr12+10.
    Running miktex-makemf.exe...
miktex-makemf: The ec-lmr12- source file could not be found. Running hbf2gf.exe...
    hbf2gf (CJK ver. 4.8.0) Couldn't find `ec-lmr12-.cfg' miktex-maketfm: No creation rule for font ec-lmr12-10.

    and so on.

First, I did not realised that all this came from the execution of "latex -src
-interaction=nonstopmode "main_diss".tex" (note the first line of the code). I
was not able as the log file contained only the output of "pdftex". At some
point I scroll to the top of the message window and saw that latex is started
    first.

Anyway. I was suprised that when I press F6 latex was executed. As a
workaround I left the field "Options->Configure TXS->Commands->LaTeX" blanc.
Now compilation runs through without any errors.

But the confusion remains. Has anybody an idea what is going wrong?

I just notice a drawback of my workaround: ALT+P for the creation of the in-
line preview does not work anymore.
By the way, I use TeXstudio 2.3 (SVN 2471) under Win XP PS3 and a user
    account.

    Any suggestion is welcome.

    Check the default compile command:
Config -> Build -> Default Compiler

You may also update to the latest SVN

  • Update: I don't know what happened but on the next day everything was running
    fine.
I updated to latest SVN anyway.
Now I wondering how to get bibliography compiling assigned to F11 again.
And I like the "Check for repetitions" feature. Very useful.

For the bibliography: change the shortcuts at Options -> Configure ->
    Shortcuts / Tools -> Bibliography

Note: I just added the shortcuts F11 and F12 back to Bibliography and Index in
    the SVN.

    @t_hoffmann: thanks for the hint.
