I have uploaded a zip file of tmx2-0 for mac (osx 10.5+, x86 only)
Please give it a try !
Please check for two possible issue:
1) inserting of accented letters by typing ´ and e (é should be the result and
no following letter should be swallowed)
2) please check whether the file https://sourceforge.net/tracker/download.php
?group_id=250595&atid=1126426&file_id=387822&aid=3075432 leads to a crash ... (Bug 3075432)
Ups, actually it is 2.0beta. No official release yet ...
1 doesn't work
2. it didn't crash but it leads during compiling of the latex document to an emergency stop.
But the realy problem is that it is impossible to work with texmakerx anymore
because there is abig delay when typing. The typing must really speed up
otherwise it is not usable.
which os x do you use ?
what means 1) does not work.
double letters or are letters omitted ?
I am using MacOSX 10.6.5
for 1) it does double letters
are you using tmx 2.0
I tested this with tmx 2.0.
But I had to switch back to 1.9.9 because of the delay when typing.
may i ask what kind of mac you are using ?
For tmx 2.0, have you tried to turn off the "syntax check" ?
I use a MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz.
I didn't tried to turn off spell checking. With 1.9.9 it works all fine.
could you try out 2.0 with SYNTAX checking turned off (it is not spell
when did you see slow keyboard response ? always ? in long lines ?
I have figured out where the delay comes from, with the newest SVN Version.
The hanging only occures when the Structure panel of my document is open.
If I instead open the greek letter panel there is no delay in typing.
I compiled TmX from today's SVN (rev 1519). The dmg image for both x86 and
x86_64 architectures can be found here:
(32.4 MB, compiled with Qt 4.7.1 cocoa libraries, without poppler preview)
Let me know if there is an issue!
poppler support would be nice as it is comfortable ... (synctex support)
Personally I use Skim as a Pdf viewer and I find it much better and
comfortable than the poppler internal viewer.
I did not include poppler because my poppler was only compiled for x86_64 so
TmX wouldn't compile for the x86 arch.
- try to compile poppler for x86 and redo the dmg
- or, propose a x86_64 only dmg
does Skim support synctex ?
x86_64 dmg with poppler would be okay ...
Yes skim does support synctex.
I will try to build the x_86-64 dmg with poppler tomorrow.
@mattgk: i just tried to download http://bigwww.epfl.ch/guerquin/documents/te
Unfortunately it is not online anymore ...
Can you upload it again ?
Sorry, it was my mistake, here it is:
I am trying to get the poppler compiled on my machine so that I can provide
binaries with internal viewer support.
and here is the image for x86_64 only compiled with poppler:
(I can have it compiled for x86)
