First of all I want to mention that TXC works great! But I
think one feature will be very handy to use, namely the
automatic check of hooks in formulae etc. Because
setting things in hooks and forget one hook means a lot
of errors and with long formulae it will be very difficult to
find the missing hook. A example is the way the matlab
editor (12) treats this feature. I hope to give you some
inspiration to make TXC still better.

Sorry, but I do not know, what you mean by "hook". I never heard of this
    together with TeX. Please explain.

I'm sorry that it is not clear, but with a hook I mean (),[] and
{}. These 'features' are used often in TeX, what I mean with
automatically is that TXC can give an beep when
these 'features' are not complete. Have a look at the matlab
    editor.

Ok, I see. We talk about brackets. Well, I think the following feature
    requests meet your request:

    [ 536160 ] Auto Bracket Mode
    [
    536164 ] Matching Bracket Highlight

I guess, this is what you
    wanted, right?

    Ciao.Tino.

Yes, that is what I wanted, I think it would be very helpfull in
TXC, especially the matching bracket highlight.

    Dennis
