I tried to assign "ESC" as short key to close the
"Ausgabeleiste". But looks that ESC is not usable as
short Key?! Would be a nice to have feature, for all
users familar ith MSVisualStudio.

At the moment the [Esc] always gives the focus to the editor
window. This is usefull, i.e. the hierarchical view has the
focus and you are using it via keyboard. In this case you
can simply hit [Esc] to switch back to the editor. But the
    current solution isn't good.

For giving the focus to the document structur in example,
one can use the [Strg]+[Q] key, but this can freely assigned
via the customization dialog. Would be could if there would
be a command called 'Set Focus to Editor' (or something
similar) which would have assigned [Esc] by default. In this
case nothing would change for the normal user, but advanced
users would have the possibility, to use the [Esc] key for
    other things.

    1. We (now) have this "Set Focus to editor" command. I did it
    some months ago.

    2. You can't assign ESC to any command. BCG does not
allow this - or the dialog is not recognizing this command.

    3. ESC is hard-coded to have the behaviour as requested
    (Visual Studio like)

    So I close this here.
