Hello,
A preprocessor tab would be useful when using TeXnicCenter together with R and its Sweave() function. The basic idea is to edit the .Rnw file within TeXnicCenter. The output document is obtained using a two-step procedure.
1. Call R from within TeXnicCenter (e.g. "R CMD Sweave %Pm") to transform the .Rnw file (containing R code chunks) into a .tex file that can processed by latex, pdflatex etc.
2. Process the .tex file using latex or pdflatex, etc.

As from now, it is possible to create a new postprocessor-only profile to perform step 1. The user may then import the output .tex file and texify it as usual. A preprocessor tab would allow automating the procedure.

Ray

Please also consider that one should not use %pm following the "R Cmd Sweave". "\" is interpreated as an escape character by R. Any backslash in the main file's full path should be doubled ('\\'). "%Pm" can be used if the TeXnicCenter project is located in the R current directory.
