There exist "ChkTeX - LaTeX semantic checker"
http://baruch.ev-en.org/proj/chktex/
--- an old, but useful utility to check some
typographic LaTeX-errors, such as quotes, "\right &
\left"-matchings, nonbreakeable space before "\ref" and
so on.

Unfortunately, this program is dead (no further
development except bug fixes), and poorly customized
(for example, it is impossible to teach the program to
french or russian quotes and so on.

So will be useful, to extend SpellChecking features of
TexnicCenter with TypoChecking features.

The source code of ChkTex probable is not useful
(poorly written), but it will be great if some checks
from ChkTeX ("Feature list" in
http://baruch.ev-en.org/proj/chktex/\) will be
implemented in TexnicCenter (sometime).

Sincerely, Stas Fomin.
