Problem with transparent pictures in TeXlipse

    Hi,

    I have the following strange problem: I try to insert a transparent picture into the document using 'transparent' package. Building in TeXlipse (using pdflatex) has no effect: the picture is not transparent whether the text in the same document is. When I build the same file from the console all goes fine: both the picture and text are transparent. In the latter case I have to launch building twice.

    I appreciate any advice. No idea what's going on.

    Here is the code:

    \documentclass{article}

    \usepackage{transparent}
    \usepackage{graphicx}

    \begin{document}

    \transparent{0.5} Transparent text.

    \transparent{0.5}{\includegraphics{test.png}}

    \end{document}

    Hi

    Running you code (with this test image: http://code.downthemall.net/maierman/metalink-test/test.png ), I can't see anything wrong, as the text and image become transparent.  (pdflatex Version 3.1415926-2.4-1.40.13 (TeX Live 2012/Debian), okular as the viewer)
    Are you sure that your running the same builders from Texlipse as in the terminal? And the viewer is the same?

    Cheers

    Pål
