Ok, I have another question. (Sorry, newbie to this!)

I was able to import vocabulary using the import option. I imported as tabulated text. Is there any way to also import notes associated with each term?

I would like to be able to see the definitions of each term, and they could be stored as notes.

Hi, the import from tabulated file is mainly for taxonomies…. tematres no have way to import notes from tabulated file.

You can use tagged file to do that …ok?

I have a tabbed text file of terms from the InforMEA volcabulary that I am having trouble ingesting. Sample entries are
      Biological Diversity
      Conservation
      in situ
      ex situ
      Captive Breeding
      Sustainable Use and Wise Management
      Non-detriment finding
      Sustainable Tourism
      Sustainable Agriculture
      Access and Benefit Sharing

Each line is indented by a tab (^i) character but Temetres does not succeed in ingesting.

Should I be using spaces instead for indenting? some other charcater.

      Thanks in advance

Hi Mick, there are no method to import notes from tabulated source :(
    We have 2 ways:
    - Try to add this method (take some time :))
    - Convert excel source from inforMEA to tagged source (have method to import notes)

By the way .. we work with tematres with http://www.ats.aq/, may be we can collaborate :)

best regards and sorry about my english :/

Sorry if I was not clear, Diego, and perhaps I picked the wrong thread.

My question was not about notes. It was about what character to use to indent a tabualted source i.e. for narrower terms should I preceed each with an actual TAB (ascii x09) character - which seems not to work - or something else like a set of spaces (x20).
