I'm not sure where to go or who to ask this question, however, I thought
be a start. I'm trying to write encrypted raw bytes of data to a file
and then simply read
that data back into Tcl and decrypted it. I'm using the Trfcrypt package
for the encryption.
I'm doing all this on the Windows platform and I've configured my file
handles as -translation binary.
What's happening is that they bytelength of the data I'm writing is not
the bytelength of the data
I'm reading (it's more). This obviously messes up the decryption. I
think there is a bug in
the -translation binary under windows (this works for UNIX). Has anyone
with the -translation binary under windows?
