I've installed TclTkAqua, but find that it is in conflict with fink and
its use of /sw/bin .. which *also* has a tcl/tk installation. So a
couple of questions:
1 - How have others found using fink and TclTkAqua? Do you modify your
PATH so that the /usr/bin version (thus TclTkAqua) comes first? Do all
your tcl/tk applications work OK with the aqua version? I've found
one, GRASS .. a Geographical Information System, fails when I remove
/sw/bin from my path, thus tries to use the aqua version.
2 - How can I un-install TclTkAqua if I need to?
3 - In particular, Python uses TclTk and I'd like to use the aqua
version for it. For example, VPython, would really benefit from the
aqua version. Have any of you folks found TclTkAqua works well with
Python. BTW: VPython is only available, as far as I can find out, via
fink, creating a fascinating chicken and egg problem!
Thanks for any help!
