When using the Img png lib with 8.4.5 osx:
Img doesn't seem to draw the alpha channel correctly
only the outer portion around the masked image is transparent
any degree of tranparency over the whole image seems to be ignored
ie a 50% transparent circle on a 100 tranparent background comes out
as a 100 opaque circle on a 100% transparent background.
is this a limitation of the osx version of Img/canvas ?

this is fixed in 8.4.6:
2004-02-23 Daniel Steffen <das@...>
* xlib/ximage.c: fixed MacOSX XGetImage/XPutImage and
functions to deal properly with XImages copied from
* generic/tkCanvPs.c (TkImageGetColor): MacOSX fix.
* generic/tkImgPhoto.c (ImgPhotoDisplay): enabled alpha
for images with partial transparency on MacOSX.
BTW, I'm going to release the 220.127.116.11 TclTkAquaBI later today... sorry
it took so long
