hi, I am looking to squeeze every bit optimization out of Tcl as is possible. I wrote a game engine, which on a 1.4Ghz Mac G4 is providing similar results to --sorry for lack of better reference-- Pitfall Harry on pre-DirectX windows. Here is an example of my event handling. Is there a better way? bind .game_console <KeyPress-Right> { monster_go_right $trans_pixel_values $offscreen update_game_console $offscreen } pack .game_console focus .game_console Any good pointers.
