Sample Extension Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 4 Submitted By: Karl Lehenbauer (karll) Assigned to: Donal K. Fellows (dkf) Summary: Sample Extension Uses Pre-Object Style Initial Comment: The sample extension uses the old string-style of commands, and hence, Tcl_CreateCommand instead of Tcl_CreateObjCommand, etc. Starting from the sample extension and working with more modern object-style commands, one is likely to get a clean build with no errors, a clean load of the shared library, and a nonobvious segmentation fault on any attempt to use one of the added commands. Suggest the sample extension be updated to use object-style commands. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Don Porter (dgp) Date: 2004-12-01 17:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=80530 I like this idea very much, but I'd call it a feature request rather than a bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=360894&aid=1076907&group_id=10894 |
