Channel System Group: 8.4.1 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Gerald W. Lester (gwlester) >Assigned to: Andreas Kupries (andreas_kupries) Summary: stdin does not obey configuration Initial Comment: Configuring stdin to buffering none has no effect. For example, run the following program. Typing an "X" should cause it to complete, however a "X<CR>" must be typed. This is true under both Linux and Windows NT. fconfigure stdin -blocking yes -buffering none -translation {binary binary} puts [fconfigure stdin] set ch [read stdin 1] puts stdout "\n\tYou typed a '$ch'" flush stdout ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Vince Darley (vincentdarley) Date: 2003-01-13 22:12 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=32170 Not a filesystem problem, but a channel system one I assume. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=666769&group_id=10894 |
