Configure and Build Tools Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: George Peter Staplin (georgeps) Assigned to: Mo DeJong (mdejong) Summary: ranlib not being run when it should Initial Comment: With Tcl 8.4b1 and the latest CVS head the tests for whether or not to run ranlib are failing in OpenBSD 3.0 x86. This problem only occurs when configuring with -- disable-shared. I can build tclsh after the linking fails by simply invoking ranlib libtcl84.a and running make again. The 8.3.4 release does not have this problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mo DeJong (mdejong) Date: 2002-07-27 20:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=90858 This should be fixed now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=110894&aid=587299&group_id=10894 |
