#1475 Cannot remove mutually exclusive category/subcategory from a task

Mario Pinho

Hello all,
I noticed this on 1.3.32 also but problem exists in newest version.

When a task is assigned a mutually exclusive category or one of its subcategories. It is impossible to remove the task from the category after assigning it. The category must be changed into non mutually exclusive for us to be able to clear the category.

Attached a video and the file I created for the video. It happens on other files I have

Thank you.

However I noticed a new behavior where now the categories of child tasks show in parentesis after the parent task's category. It shows all categories of child tasks even hidden ones (like completed and inactive categories).

      Is this normal now?

That’s intended. It should only happen if the parent task is collapsed.
