I am facing the same issue as reported in bug #626. The load created by a minimised TaskCoach is around 25% on a dual core x32 computer running Fedora 18 with KDE. The python version of Fedora 18 is currently 2.7.3-13.

I have tried the following advices from the previous bug thread, but no effect:

  • Deleted the .TaskCoach directory (containing an old .ini file), and there is currently no .ini file I can find on the system. Where should it be?
  • Removed all views (only use the Effort view) and all columns
  • Removed the tick of the task bar clock
  • Toggled X11 session management

Any suggestions?

Thanks a million,

        --- G.

Discussion

  • The ini file is in ~/.config/Task Coach/ now. Please keep a copy and send it to me (fraca7 AT free DOT fr) so I can try to reproduce your problem.

  • This bug should be fixed in the latest release of Task Coach. Can you please install the latest release of Task Coach and confirm that this bug has indeed been fixed?

    Thanks, Task Coach development team
