Ubiquity 1.0 Released

Ubiquity is the platform that provides TagCentic with its agent capabilities (discovery, messages and message passing, GUI support, etc). Until today, it has been released with TagCentic only as object code . However, you can now download the code for it at the Ubiquity project site (https://sourceforge.net/projects/ubiquity/).

TagCentric 1.0

The TagCentric team is pleased to announce the intial release of TagCentric! Please download and refer to the documentation section of our sourceforge page for installation instructions. Please contact us via the forums with any questions.

As noted in the doumentation, TagCentic is an application that sits on top of the Ubiquity agent architecture. Although the source for this is not included with this release, you will soon be able to download it at the Ubiquity sourceforge page.

Spring Semester

The spring semester at the University of Arkansas has begun. The RFID middleware class is currently ironing out some last final details before we release Tag-Centric to the open source community. We hope to have it up within a couple of weeks.
