I'm trying to exclude files using a path and ..

Here is an example:

"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Microsoft\Crypto*.";"C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files*.";"C:\hiberfil.sys";"C:\pagefile.sys"

I still get errors stating that Synchronicity failed to copy those exact files...

Have I misunderstood how to exclude files?

Discussion

  • To exclude entire folders, use the folder selection tree (uncheck the box before the folder's name). If you only want to exclude the files, but not the subfolders, right-click the folder name in the tree, and click "synchronize subfolders only".
Then, in the file exclusion box, type "hiberfil.sys";"pagefile.sys"

Hope this helps; let me know if you have more question (better post them by mail than as a bug report, though.)
