Some details which need to be improved before next release:

01) we should have a progress bar while loading local and export folders (since it may take a while for people having lots of file) and we should also have a cancel button (if the user has chosen a too big (and wrong) folder). I was thinking about having a single tab with two progress bars (one for the local folder, the other for the export folder) and one or two cancel button. When the scanning of the local folder is done, the corresponding progress bar disappears and the local tab appears. The same thing holds for the export folder.

02) Menu buttons (import/export/apply/revert/reload device) should be disabled while a transfer is occuring.

03) correcting the device panel which is ocillating when file's name are changing during a transfer

04) export folder view is not refreshed after a transfer... it should be since files may have been exported

05) only allow one instance of the properties windows (and the profile window)

06) import/export/apply button in the middle ??

07) Add a path configuration for FFMPEG (will only be useful for people on Windows)

08) Add a check box to allow the user to use the same path for local and export folder (this will lead to have a single tab)

09) GTK+ theme support

    06) is abandonned: icons have been improved and it will be useless once drag'n'drop will be implemented

    07) has been requested many times, it should really be done !

I have other details to point out:
    10) in the track info window (tab ID3 Tag): the tab should just be named "Tag" since .OMA files don't have an "ID3" tag, and you can delete "Composer" and "Comment" field, since they are not managed in walkman, I just don't care.

    11) When the local path is the same as the export path, the export tab is disabled, maybe it can be deleted !?

    More points:
    12) some people complained about the fact to have to choose a root folder for the local folder. These people are running JSymphonic under Windows, and they have music on different hard-drives, since they can't choose the Computer to be the root folder, they are not able to access two different hard-drives to browse all their music.

    13) after version 0.3.0, I'll implement cover support. That could be a good idea to use the cover as album icon when browsing music, as does amaroK 2.

    14) there are a lot of progress bars when transfering music needed transcodage. The 2 progress bars showing decoding and encoding total progress are not necessary since the "importation" progress bar increases also when a file has been decoded or encoded.

    15) I've made a modification on the "Tag utilization" panel in the properties window (transfer tab). The combo box to choose the pattern to read info from folder structure is now editable since users can define their own pattern. Now, explanation are missing: maybe in an info bubble or a help button which show another window!?
Also the combo box is now always enabled since the pattern is used if tag are missing, even if "always try to read tag" is check. It should be introduce with a label stating "Use the following folder structure to read info when tag is not used or missing:"

    04) is done
    05) is done
    07) is abandonned. It will not be done since FFMPEG weights only 2mo now and it concerned Windows users and FFMPEG will be less used when the sound api will be implemented.
    10) is done
    11) is not feasable since we are using Netbeans GUI editor.
    15) is done since revision 301

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    POINTS LEFT ARE:
    03) correcting the device panel which is ocillating when file's name are
changing during a transfer (I try to improve that, but it's not perfect yet)

    08) Add a check box to allow the user to use the same path for local and
    export folder

    16) The sort pattern (the way the titles are displayed in the device panel) should be saved as a preference so that someone always using the "Album/Titles" pattern doesn't have to select this pattern at each startup.
