We are trying to implement a directory synchronization process between several CentOS servers. It appears to be working except file/directory ownership/attributes are not being retained. Is there any documentation or sample instructions available that would tell me what I need to do in order to make sure that directories/files between systems are created/updated with the same ownership and permissions? Thank you.

I don't think we preserve the user, group, or permissions on files. The files are just copied using the user running SymmetricDS. I entered an issue to try addressing this for version 3.7:

You could set ownership and permissions with an "after copy script" but I'm not sure how you'd get the information to the script about what to set.
