I dont know, I havent had a chance to look into it lately, Been getting ready for a New Year's Celebration. Anywho, When i get a chance im gonna either add my device ID to the driver and compile it, or pull the card and see what it has for a chipset, then go from there. I'll prob try addin the ID first, but im not sure at the moment. Anyway, gotta get back to getting ready for the Celebration. ----- Original Message ---- From: "dem...@ne..." <dem...@ne...> To: syl...@li... Barely any, so all of the new device ID's for Audigy won't work. However, this does not imply that all that is needed is just adding the device ID's to the code, the newer Audigy's most-likely have different chips that have different setup procedures and different register addresses, but this is just a guess. I have a SB Audigy, that I just got a few months back, and Syllable doesnt recognize/support it, at least according the syllable system manager. If there is a way i can add my card to the driver i would like to know how, and i report my findings back, I know how to do it with windows, but Syllable and Winblows are two very different OS's, mainly cause Syllable is so much better, even though its not fully ready to be a Daily OS yet. While im on the subject of winblows, has anyone thought about porting games over, Syllable is nice and everything, but I still have to use windows to play games other than the two or three that are available, that still work. Anyway, if someone wants to either walk me through adding my audigy or do the work for me, and have me test, please let me know. Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo!
