In fact, I've already had a look at CGLAB but I didn't manage to install it, I couldn't believe it. On windows I have seen on the web that the problem has not been solved and I could'nt install it on Linux either !
Here is what I have when I tried to install CGLAB on linux :
# yum install CGAL CGAL-devel
The instructions on http://cglab.gforge.inria.fr/Download.htm make no
sense. They refer to "CGAL-3.2/make/makefile_".
The CGAL package for Fedora 12 is version 3.5.1, the latest CGAL is
version 3.6, and in neither case is there a file which fits the
Download CGLAB-1.0.tar.gz and move it to /usr/local.
# tar xzvf CGLAB-1.0.tar.gz
# cd CGLAB-1.0
Then in scilab I typed the following:
but I got an error message:
Makefile:18: /usr/local/scilab-5.2.2/share/scilab/Makefile.incl: No such file or directory
Makefile:28: *** missing separator. Stop.
In the meantime, you can have a look at CGLAB
(http://cglab.gforge.inria.fr/) where you will find amongst other
algorithm a convex hull algorithm. The binding was not written using SWIG.
We are currently experimenting with providing a similar thing using
SWIG, but we test only with python and java for the moment.
