Subject: [Swig-user] how to give a function a parameter of "char *

i meet a question about using swig, i have a function which in c++ is:
int func(int IN,char* OUTPUT,int IN)
i use the swig to pack it to pyd.
when i use the function in python, i do not know how to give the
function a parameter of "char * OUTPUT".
the python get the error:
TypeError: in method 'tx_recvmsg', argument 2 of type 'char *'
is there any way to solve the problem?
