I tried swig to generate perl/python interfaces for my =
application server days ago.
It=E2=80=99s really an incredible tool.=20
Now I=E2=80=99m planning to add the COM/IDispatch interface so =
that scripting language
such as JSript/VBScript can call the similar functions as the =
created by swig. If swig supports COM/IDispatch, that=E2=80=99s would be =
so great a thing.
Is the COM/IDispatch to be supported in the future? Can anyone give me =
about the interface IDispatch? Now I can try to convert XML to the =
COM/IDispatch by a perl script, maybe.

Take a look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/swigxmltocom. Long term I
would like to see the ideas from this project incorporated into SWIG
proper so that SWIG generates a COM interface directly rather than
having to use the SWIG xml interim step. It needs someone to take it up
as a project of course.
