In SVN trunk r10487, Lib/python/pycontainer.swg, around line 741 you can find this:

#ifdef SWIG_PYTHON_EXTRA_NATIVE_CONTAINERS
      swig_type_info *desc = swig::type_info<sequence>();
      if (desc && desc->clientdata) {
	return SWIG_NewPointerObj(new sequence(seq), desc, SWIG_POINTER_OWN);
      }
#endif

I think these #ifdef and %#endif should be %#ifdef and %#endif. Because SWIG_PYTHON_EXTRA_NATIVE_CONTAINERS is defined in the generated code by run SWIG with '-extranative' option.

However, I don't know what this option means and what it did.
