I am using swig to test certain plugins (implemented as shared libs) and have been able to import and use the generated python swig modules to perform standalone tests on the plugin's C++ code.

Since these plugins are part of a larger binary these would be initialized when the binary starts up. The execution control of this binary is independent and not in my hands.

Is there some means by which I can still interface via the generated python modules to the plugin/library(having the wrappers linked in) under execution?

Do let me know if more clarity is required regarding the query.

Thanks & Regards
