Hello everybody! I added support for a new target language objective-c - which means that, now, swig can be used to generate objective-c wrappers over C++. I feel there are lots of improvements that I can make to the existing functionality which I will be doing next.

I am thankful for all the support I got from my mentor, Jan. My experience with swig and Jan as a mentor was really enriching and I want to continue working on the project and making further improvements. My immediate step is to fine tune the existing functionality and bring the code-base to a stage where it can be included in the trunk.

Again, thanks to William and Olly for their guidance throughout the program.

SWIG's directors allow "callback" functionality to be wrapped.
Essentially this enables a user to inherit a target language class from
a C++ class enabling cross language polymorphism. SWIG previously only
supported directors for Python, Ruby, Java, C#, and Ocaml. In
particular, PHP support was lacking - and this summer I implemented
director support for PHP. The 1.3.40 release already contains this
