I have installed from the source code. The device /dev/dsp is functioning
since in other audio programmes the input and output are fine. I can import
tracks into sweep and play them back through /dev/dsp no problem.
I have the following error when attempting to record a new track:
OSS: error setting fragments: invalid argument
Sweep remains alive, however if I try again I may be given this message in
addition at which point sweep dies:
Xlib: unexpected Async reply (sequence 0x32f302)
What I have done: attempted to install the alsa drivers/libs and recompile
sweep with the alsa option. However the device plughw:0,0 is not recognized
at all. So I recompiled back again without alsa.
Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thankyou.
