Maybe someone knows this Protools feature, it's the
very best way to cut loops (e.g. cutting drumloops to
feed a sampler).
You load a sample with a great loop, then you just
select the 4/4 drumloop you'd like to cut out and tell
protools to cut it in four even parts and voila, it
sets five markers. You can then fine-tune the parts to
compensate quantization or to declip the samples and
save it out to four files, each containing 1/4 of the
loop (or 1/8, or whatever...).
This feature would be based on 'save selection' and
'markers' (or multiple selections).
Anyways, Seep is about the best, most intuitive editors
I've seen so far, and very promising, keep up the good
work!
